Job Description:

Germanna Community College is a public, open access institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System. Germanna Community College is centrally located in Fredericksburg, VA between Washington D.C. and Richmond and between the Blue Ridge mountains and the Chesapeake Bay. Germanna is seeking adjunct faculty for our Physical Therapy program. Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. We are searching for an instructor who is able to teach a variety of PTA courses through lecture and laboratory.

All teaching positions of Germanna Community College require the ability to teach in a variety of modalities including virtually. Teaching faculty must demonstrate competency and commitment to continuous professional development in virtual education.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Licensed or eligible for Virginia licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant

* Clinical experience as Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Asst

* Experience in instruction in the clinical or educational settings

* Complete Growing with Canvas and TOPS 2.2 prior to teaching

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or higher

* Substantial clinical experience as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant

* Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools
