Job Summary Pharmacy Summer Camp Resident Counselor The position is for a 5-day Summer Camp June 3-7, 2024.This is a live-in position to provide evening supervision of program participants. Must be available to work the full duration of the camp. Resident Counselors will live in an ETSU residence hall with approximately 20 high school students participating in the Pharmacy Summer Camp. Resident Counselors will accompany students to/from evening and morning meals, facilitate and supervise evening social/recreational activities (which may include driving program vans to transport participants to off-campus sites), assure all participants are in the dormitory at curfew and are on-call as needed between curfew and breakfast. Additionally, Program Assistants are expected to provide general guidance, motivation, and support for camp participants.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to provide oversight and assistance to students.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally.
- Ability to understand the roles and responsibilities of a resident counselor in maintaining a healthy and safe environment during the program.
- Ability to promote cooperation and identify and resolve conflicts with students.
Required Qualifications - Must be able to pass criminal background checks.
- Must be 21 years of age by June 1, 2024.
- Must be a current enrolled ETSU Student.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with school-aged students.
- Experience as an RA, camp counselor, or similar position
- A current student of the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy or the Quillen College of Medicine.
