Responsibilities Include:

• Take ownership and provide supervision for our dispensing pharmacy.
• Communicate and educate staff on pharmacy-related issues, including regulatory compliance and drug safety.
• Implement quality assurance programs to enhance patient care and prevent drug diversion.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Serve as a primary source of information for internal staff and external customers.
• Maintain pharmacy integrity and confidentiality of patient information.
• Implement training programs to uphold pharmacy standards and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacist license from the Iowa Board of Pharmacy.
• Proven leadership skills with a focus on mentorship and team development.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and pharmacy operations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.
