Job Description

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist is sought to provide specialized support to a pre-kindergarten caseload in an early childhood educational setting. This contract position is ideal for professionals experienced with pediatric populations and interested in working three days per week during September and October. The role primarily supports students utilizing teletherapy and in-person interventions tailored to early childhood needs.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in pre-K settings
• Familiarity or experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) populations is highly desirable
• Ability to deliver teletherapy services effectively
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
• Background in healthcare or school-based therapy settings is advantageous

Location:

• Newark, New Jersey, within an early childhood educational facility

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to pre-kindergarten students
• Collaborate with educators and other therapists to support student IEP goals
• Utilize teletherapy platforms to ensure consistent and engaging therapy sessions
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
• Support communication development in children with diverse abilities and needs
