Job Description

A part-time speech-language pathologist is needed for a leave replacement position at an early childhood school in Paterson, NJ. This role involves working primarily with a Pre-K caseload over three days a week during the months of September and October. The position is offered on a contract basis.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in early childhood settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy services as well as in-person evaluations and treatment
• Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
• Prior experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) populations is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for young children
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
• Provide direct therapy services to pre-kindergarten students
• Monitor progress and adjust goals as needed
• Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other team members
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with regulations and school policies

• Early childhood educational setting in Paterson, New Jersey

Employment Details:

• Part-time schedule: 3 days per week (September and October)
• Contract position covering a leave of absence
