The Therapy Nest is a growing pediatric occupational therapy clinic and sensory gym in Westchester, New York. We are expanding our team and searching for a pediatric occupational therapist to join us as a full-time, salaried employee. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious occupational therapist who wants to be part of a growing organization and wants a dynamic pediatric occupational therapy career.
The therapist would evaluate and treat all ages of children (birth to adolescents) in our sensory gym and clinic in Rye Brook, New York. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply, and regardless of experience level, the therapist must be excited to work in a collaborative environment and must be eager to develop as a therapist. We offer extensive mentor and professional learning opportunities. The therapist will earn a salary and benefits, including company sponsored health insurance, paid time off, and formal professional development.
Job Responsibilities:
· Independently treat a wide-ranging caseload (babies through adolescents)
· Conduct a variety of formal evaluations
· Document therapy sessions and evaluations
· Collaborate externally with parents, caretakers, teachers, school administrators and other health professionals
· Collaborate internally with other therapists and company staff
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or OTD
· Active New York State Occupational Therapist License
· Demonstrated interest in pediatric occupational therapy
· Passion for working with children
· Consistent history of academic success
