**Part-Time Programming/Promotions Assistant & Radio Host**

at Townsquare Media Ocean City, NJ ***Part-time Promotions & Programming Assistant***

Townsquare Media Jersey Shore is looking for promotions and programming assistant for 94.3 The Point, 92.7 WOBM, 105.7 The Hawk, and the New Beach 104.1 FM. Ideal candidates are upbeat, outgoing, and front facing. Youll be tasked with executing events on-site as a brand ambassador and client relations specialist. Candidates needs to be an organized self-starter who can communicate effectively with station leadership, on-air personalities, listeners, business leaders and account reps to help coordinate appearances and events. Many of these will be nights and weekends. Candidates will also be helping out in the studio performing a variety of tasks like producing shows and dubbing commercials. Candidate must be able to connect and engage with the stations target audience on site, online and on air as they will be an active member of our team. This person is eager to build relationships and value in our community and is an excellent communicator within the building, and with listeners.

**Responsibilities**

* Execute promotions such as remotes, events, van hits, and other street team activities from start to finish.

* Interact with listeners, clients, and execute prize giveaways on-site.

* Set up, breakdown, and transport promotional equipment to and from events including tents, banners, sound systems, prizing, etc.

* Photograph and record events for website, social media and clients.

* Drive promotional vehicles to and from events.

* Assist in studio, as directed.

* Follow all FCC guidelines

* Follow direction

**Qualifications**

* 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent education.

* Strong communication skills

* Proficient in writing

* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and social media platforms

* Problem-solving and decision making

* Ability to stand for multiple hours and lift/move 40-pound objects
