Position Overview

We are seeking a Part 107 certified Drone Pilot to join our growing Reality Capture team. This role involves planning and executing drone missions to capture aerial data for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate has experience operating drones for mapping and data collection and is comfortable working independently in the field. Knowledge of land surveying principles is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate UAS in compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations.
• Plan and execute aerial mapping missions for photogrammetry, and LiDAR.
• Capture and manage aerial data using platforms such as DroneDeploy.
• Perform basic post-processing and quality control on collected data.
• Setting ground control points (GCPs) using Trimble GPS equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (Required).
• Experience with drone flight planning and mapping software.
• Strong understanding of aerial data collection best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage field logistics.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
