POSITION SUMMARY:

As our Application Trainer , you will educate and certify new installers in applying Icon Rocklear products. This role involves delivering hands-on training sessions, ensuring installers fully understand our products' application techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards. This will be crucial in maintaining the company's high standards and ensuring customer satisfaction. 

This 1099 position requires travel to various locations to conduct training for new installers in our Great Los Angeles market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct comprehensive 2-3 day training courses for new installers, covering all aspects of Icon Rocklear product application. 
• Provide hands-on demonstrations and guidance to ensure installers are proficient in using the products. 
• Educate installers on safety protocols, proper handling, and storage of materials.
• Assess the skills and knowledge of trainees to determine their readiness for certification.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Icon Rocklear products and application techniques.
• Develop and update training materials, manuals, and resources as needed.
• Provide feedback and support to trainees, helping them improve their skills and techniques.
• Collaborate with the product development team to stay informed about new products and updates. 
• Travel to various locations as required to deliver training sessions within the Greater Orange County, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Extensive experience in car detailing, with a deep understanding of coating application and surface protection. 
• Previous experience in automotive detailing is required.
• Proven track record in training or mentoring others in a hands-on environment, preferably within the automotive industry. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to teach complex techniques in an accessible manner. 
• Passion for automotive care and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel to different locations for training sessions and industry events. 
• A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Daily: $500 - $750 per day (each training is 2- 3 days)
