Job Description Job Description Role: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with Golden Gate and Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL Location: Dallas, TX [Hybrid] Duration: 6+ Months Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases in a high-availability environment. Implement and manage Oracle Golden Gate for real-time data replication and integration between databases. Administer and optimize Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL databases to ensure high performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements. Perform database tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning to ensure optimal performance. Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity and availability. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with the development team to optimize SQL queries and database design for better performance. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database administration. Create and maintain documentation for database systems, configurations, and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator with expertise in Oracle 12c and above. Hands-on experience with Oracle Golden Gate for real-time data replication. Solid understanding of Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, including installation, configuration, and performance optimization. Proficiency in SQL tuning and optimization. Experience with database security and compliance. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
