A unique opportunity awaits a dedicated Special Education Teacher with a focus on Health education. This position involves working one-on-one with a high school student who is homebound, providing tailored instruction to support their educational needs in a health-related curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging health lesson plans designed for high school students.
• Provide individualized support to facilitate the student's learning and ensure they meet their educational goals.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
• Collaborate with parents, healthcare professionals, and school staff to create a comprehensive educational plan.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Dual certification in Health Education and Special Education for high school grades.
• Proven experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a high school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students and families.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, ensuring that educational objectives are met.
