Job Description

The Nursery Attendant monitors children in the play area in our Wilderness Club Kids Club

• Keeps children entertained by playing games, reading books, coloring, etc.



• Ensures the area is in a neat and orderly fashion and all equipment, games, toys, etc. do not present any hazard.



• Ensures each child is signed in and out by a parent or guardian.

Requirements:

• Prior experience monitoring and entertaining children required.



• CPR/First Aid Certified preferred.



• Must be proactive, attentive, ability to maintain a safe environment for children and keep them entertained.



• Strong monitoring capabilities.



• Patient and calm personality.



• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with children, parents and co-workers.



• Ability to stand, kneel, walk and bend frequently.



• Most of all energetic and fun!



• *Weekend shifts required*
