Job Description - Offer culturally attuned virtual care in Spanish and English via phone, video call, or chat for full 30 minutes to assess patient needs, diagnose conditions, and provide appropriate clinical guidance or treatment.
- Collaborate closely with Latin American healthcare providers who serve as health coaches to US patients, as well as an integrated care model with our mental health team.
- Proactive communication with the patient engagement team to ensure patients attend appointments and receive the care needed.
- Must maintain average patient satisfaction ratings in line with MiSalud clinical team averages at 95%+ by delivering patient care with exemplary bedside manner and a focus on high-quality, outcome-driven care.
- Lead with an efficient and adaptable attitude. We are a fast-growing company! You will see our technology, programs, and protocols grow and change, and will be expected to keep up with training without sacrificing quality.
Qualifications - Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure with board certification in CA and at least two of the following states: TX, FL, AZ, OH, IL, OR, NY, WA, TN, NJ, KY, MD, CO, RI
- 103 NP designation under California AB 890 (authorized for full independent practice without physician supervision in any setting)
- 3+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Spanish proficiency at a B2 level or above, to offer bilingual consultations in Spanish and English.
- Experience utilizing digital health (telehealth) platforms and digital tools for remote work.
- Experience in public health and/or addressing population health disparities.
- Proactive and communicative team approach. Bring a problem-solving attitude to a remote work environment to make improvements and new ways of work to improve the health of the populations we serve.
- Empathy. You'll work with patients who are often more concerned about basic life necessities than their health: shelter, food security, and personal safety. You need to keep perspective, be empathetic, and spend extra time building trust and educating on health.
- Experience creating clinical programs and measuring outcomes (nice to have).
