JOB SUMMARY
The Natural Gas Field Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the transportation of natural gas between well pads in both Texas and Pennsylvania, gathering systems, and downstream pipeline network.

This role works to achieve operational targets under general supervision. Requires the ability to influence others by explaining facts, policies and practices. Problems faced may be difficult but generally not complex. Demonstrates integrity, accountability and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values and culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical job responsibilities of the NATURAL GAS FIELD COORDINATOR include:
• Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly natural gas transportation schedules in accordance with contractual obligations and market conditions.
• Develop a strong understanding of our contracts with various downstream counterparties and ensure we are meeting our obligations.
• Coordinate with upstream operations, downstream pipelines, and our external marketing team to ensure timely and accurate movement of natural gas.
• Attend morning meetings and collaborate with operations foremen, external marketers, and other constituents to coordinate scheduling, maintenance impacts to nominations, and discrepancies between external midstream providers and marketers.
• Communicate development plans effectively with all external counterparties to resolve scheduling issues, ensure additional gas flow, and negotiate contractual terms.
• Analyze transportation contracts, market trends, and operational constraints to optimize asset utilization and minimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Texas Railroad Commission and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulations, pipeline tariffs, and industry standards.
• Monitor and manage imbalances, penalties, and other operational risks to maintain compliance and minimize financial exposure.
• Assist in generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track performance metrics, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and support decision-making processes.
• Conduct post-trade analysis and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks related to natural gas scheduling and transportation, including pipeline constraints, capacity limitations, and force majeure events.
• Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to ensure reliable and resilient operations.
• Other duties as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Understanding of natural gas industry standards, market trends, emerging issues, and regulatory requirements.
• Deep understanding of natural gas operations, markets, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in scheduling software such as EnerSys, Aligne, OATI, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and job-related applications. Uses insights from digital tools to improve performance.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance or related field preferred.
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS
• This position is located in at BKV's Fort Worth, TX office a minimum of 3 days a week with the option to work remote up to 2 days a week.
• Indoor working environment that requires the ability to perform repetitive motions and operate standard office equipment.
• May occasionally be exposed to distracting noise while sharing office space with others.
• Some travel up to 10% may be required to our corporate office in Denver, CO and Northeast Pennsylvania.
