This role requires a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools and machining equipment such as lathes, stamping presses, and electrical discharge machining to produce mold components.
• Measure and inspect mold parts using precision instruments like micrometers to ensure accuracy.
• Assemble molds according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and function.
• Perform welding tasks as needed for mold assembly and repair.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mold production and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Moldmaker or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software for mold design.
• Strong understanding of mold assembly techniques and the use of hand tools.
• Experience with micrometers and other precision measuring instruments is essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
