Overview
We are seeking full and part-time passionate and dedicated Mobile Dog Grooming professionals to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality grooming services directly to clients in the comfort of their homes. This position requires a love for animals, exceptional grooming skills, and the ability to handle dogs of various breeds and temperaments. As a LEAD Mobile Dog Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and appearance of our furry clients. This lead postion will work closely with the owner and grow the business. This position has growth opportunity into management.
Duties
Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs of all sizes.
Assess each dog's grooming needs and provide appropriate services based on breed standards and client preferences.
Ensure the safety and comfort of each dog during grooming sessions.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the mobile grooming unit.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's grooming needs and any observed health issues.
Handle dogs safely using proper techniques to minimize stress and ensure their well-being.
Keep accurate records of services performed for each client.
Stay updated on the latest grooming trends and techniques to provide top-notch service.
Schedule appointments.
Report to owner and work closely to grow the business.
Experience
2+ years of experience in pet grooming.
Mobile pet grooming experience is a plus, but not required.
Skills in animal care, dog handling, and pet grooming.
Experience as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician is a plus.
Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques for larger breeds is beneficial.
Knowledge of dog training can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
Creative
Familar with technology and willingness to learn.
