American Technical Services, Inc. (atspage.com), is a leading technology and engineering company providing government and commercial clients a wide range of metrology & calibration engineering services. We are currently seeking a developer to assist us with further development and continued maintenance of our current iOS application, MOX2GO.

The successful candidate will be working closely with an outstanding team of engineers to develop new features for a cutting-edge asset management and metrology application used by the major commercial and government entities.  The primary focus will be development and integration with back-end services. Experience with mobile application development platforms such as Xamarin required.

Strong proficiency in:

• Design and build applications for the iOS and Android platforms
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications
• Learn and support new systems and applications

Position Requirements:

• Experience with the Azure Xamarin development platform
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Experience developing apps that interact with web services (REST, JSON
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Software development experience in C#.NET, ASP.NET core or Angular is a plus
• Experience with Atlassian Productivity Tools such as Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence are a plus
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with the publishing process for the iOS app store
• BS in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of software development experience
