Job Description

Welder

As a welder, you will primarily focus on 80% MIG and 20% TIG welding on mild and stainless steel. Additionally, you will engage in fabrication tasks such as assembly, measuring, cutting, and bending. This role is set in a job shop environment rather than a production line.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild and stainless steel.
  • Execute fabrication tasks including assembly, measuring, cutting, and bending.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate welding and fabrication.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential skills:

  • 1 year of TIG welding experience.
  • 1 year of MIG welding experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Experience with mild and stainless steel.

Additional skills & qualifications:

  • Fabrication experience.
  • Understanding of welding techniques and safety standards.

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr. All OT is voluntary. Direct hire family owned and the owner is very approachable and on the shop floor at times. 3-5% annual raises. Very laid back and relaxed work environment. Clean and organized facility and shop. 10% 2nd shift premium. Tuition reimbursement. 90 day review anywhere from nothing to a $1 - completely depending on their performance and attendance.
