Job Description

Position: Medical Science Liaison

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Medical Science Liaison.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in peertopeer scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals, translating insights into actions.
• Act as a therapeutic expert and thought partner to internal teams.
• Serve as liaison between the client and clinical study sites / investigators.
• Provide support for medical education, advisory boards, and medical congresses.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions.
• Communicate clinical and scientific data to KOLs and healthcare professionals through presentations, educational programs, and scientific discussions.
• Provide scientific support for medical congresses, advisory boards and other relevant scientific engagements to enhance the visibility of the client within the scientific and medical communities.
• Collaborate crossfunctionally with medical affairs, clinical development, marketing and other teams to support the development and execution of medical strategies and tactics.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

• Doctoral degree in a scientific or medical discipline.
• 8+ years experience as an MSL or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and drug development processes.
• Knowledge and experience within the oncology therapeutic area.
• Proven ability to analyze and synthesize scientific information effectively.
• Excellent presentation skills, effectively communicating complex scientific data to diverse audiences.
• Strong networking skills with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
• Selfdirected and able to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills

• Preferred experience in lung and gastrointestinal cancers.
• Experience with both early and late stage clinical assets as well as approved therapies.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $215,000 to $235,000. Base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at the client, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
