Key Responsibilities
1. Answer phones and schedule laboratory appointments and specimen collections
2. Great patients and healthcare providers visiting our facility.
3. Process patient paperwork, insurance information, and laboratory orders
4. Enter patient data and test results into electronic medical records
5. Coordinate with healthcare facilities regarding test scheduling and results.
6. Handle billing inquiries and insurance verification.
7. Maintain organized filing systems and patient records
Requirements
1. High school diploma or equivalent required
2. Previous medical office, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
3. Strong communication skills and professional phone manners
4. Computer proficiency and the ability to less as an medical software systems
5. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes a plus.
6. No laboratory experience required/ complete medical office training provided.
