Marketing Manager

Summary

The Marketing Manager will support the marketing leadership team in a variety of projects that relate to sales collateral, internal and external corporate presentations, select Client communication (i.e. newsletters), company communications (website, Entraverse, LinkedIn), event planning & execution and special project assignments.

This role requires a strong degree of multi-tasking, a sharp focus for details, solid writing skills, and an innate sense of urgency to promptly respond to the team and requests. Must be extremely comfortable with fast turnarounds for projects, open to constructive feedback and willing to learn new skills in order to grow.

Responsibilities

●Maintain sales materials and communication collateral items in the Sales Solutions Folder and on the Entraverse (i.e. Email Group Distribution lists, Station Guide List, News Updates, Sports Schedules, Programming Decks, Trainings, Sales Meeting events).
●Assist team with day to day marketing updates and specialty projects, including political projects, corporate initiatives, product newsletters and client experiences.
●Assist with general proofreading of various collateral materials, including sales decks, newsletters, PR releases, internal content (Entraverse), and external content (website).
●Coordinate and obtain approvals for any Univision premium placement opps (Commercial Snipes, Split Screens, etc).
●Assist with sports partnership deliverables (ie. budget maintenance, recap decks, and content communication)
●Keep track of the team calendar. coordinate meetings and assist with meeting preparations.

Required Education and Experience

●Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive in a multi-tasking role.
●Have the ability to convey thoughts and ideas clearly & effectively (written & verbally).
●Strong knowledge of English grammar and composition rules required for writing, editing and proofreading material.
●Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
●Technically savvy, a whiz at figuring out solutions on the fly to tricky issues.
●Experience with creating presentations that look “wow”.

●Strong verbal and written communication skills (must submit writing samples)

●BA/BS with a communications or marketing-related major, trade program certification or relevant experience in the industry
●Minimum 3 years experience in a professional advertising agency, media company or sales/marketing environment.
●Expert in Google programs (ie. Slides, sheets, docs, etc)
●Skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator;
●Knowledge of Saas and sales enablement platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Allego, Haystack.
●Video editing skills a plus but not required.
●Knowledge of both Mac and PC platforms and the ability to work in and convert files on both platforms.
●Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking and writing extremely valuable.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a Full Time position. Actual schedule and hours may vary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Reports directly to Sr. Dir. Marketing Comms
