About the Role
The Company is seeking an MD for Structured Credit Trading in the Americas with a primary focus on growing the asset-backed loan (ABL) financing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand the fund financing transactions, particularly those backed by corporate credit assets and more esoteric asset pools. This role involves working closely with the global head of structured credit trading, sales, structuring, and other internal stakeholders to ensure the business meets its performance targets and revenue goals. The MD will also be tasked with maintaining a strong risk management framework, adhering to all regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of collaboration and transparency within the team. Candidates for this role should have a proven track record in structured credit trading, with a deep understanding of ABL and fund financing. The role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage and mitigate risks, as well as ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in mentoring and leading a team, and be adept at driving commercial, competitive pricing for clients. A strong educational background in finance, economics, or a related field is essential, and the candidate should be able to demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of ethics and business conduct.
