Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting overall operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Ankeny, IA

What's the Job?

• Maintain and repair all manufacturing and supporting equipment, including air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Install new or relocated machinery and ensure proper electrical supply to the equipment.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment, installing new or repaired parts as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on a bi-weekly and annual basis as per the Preventive Maintenance program.
• Repair and maintain the physical structure of the facility, including fabricating and repairing wooden structures.

What's Needed?

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in industrial maintenance or a related mechanically inclined field.
• Strong mechanical skills, particularly in pipefitting and heating within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and perform repairs effectively.
• Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
