About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations in McKinney, TX. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial equipment to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and plays a key role in maintaining equipment reliability and operational excellence. 2 open positions. 1st shift Monday-Friday 7am-3pm and 3rd Shift Monday-Friday 11pm-7am. No Relocation offered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues.
• Install and replace mechanical and electrical components, including motors, air cylinders, heaters, blowers, and extruders.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and b
• Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities and work orders.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Provide cross-functional support to operations and respond to equipment needs as they arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Advanced mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of:
• Pneumatics and vacuum systems
• VFDs and PLCs (basic)
• HMIs (basic understanding)
• PVC compounding systems and extruder operations
• Electrical distribution systems
• Liquid and powder transfer procedures
• Ability to rebuild pumps, motors, and manifolds.
• Basic welding skills; TIG welding is a plus.
• Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of performing physical activities including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
