Job Description

We are looking for a Loss Prevention Manager to handle the security, compliance, investigation, and taking action toward shrinkage for our distribution facility in Locust Grove, GA. Your Role

In this role as an independent contributor, you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of campus loss prevention and security protocols. You will also actively reinforce security practices and coordinate with contracted security services to maintain adherence to KN security standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a Security Management system following the Kuehne+Nagel U.S. security policy manual and establish site loss prevention protocols
• Ensure strict adherence to Visitor and Driver Protocol in both office and warehouse area and manage local ID badge program
• Review and follow up on any reported security incidents, maintain branch activity reports, accurate alarm/security records, and regular maintenance reports
• Investigate and report all security incidents to the Site Manager and Director of Security
• Detect and resolve internal theft investigations within the warehouse
• Partner with law enforcement agencies on incident investigations
• Update and maintain security work instructions to ensure compliance with security protocols
• Maintenance of security certifications and standards as applicable, such as to C-TPAT, TAPA-A
• Regularly review CCTV footage to identify and report any irregularities, escalating to the Site Manager and Director of Security

Your Skills and Experiences

• Criminal justice certificate such as Wicklander - Zulawski or similar, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in loss prevention management
• Formal knowledge of TAPA and C TPAT requirements is preferred
• Law enforcement or military background a plus
• Experience in a warehousing environment a plus
