🔹 About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, bilingual (Spanish English) Addiction Counselor to join our dynamic team in Baltimore. This individual will work with young adults and adults facing substance use challenges, ensuring continuity of care and support from assessment through recovery.

You’ll be part of a dedicated clinical team providing individualized, culturally competent care to a diverse patient population. If you're passionate about making a difference and fluent in both English and Spanish , we encourage you to apply!

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, treatment planning, and referrals for individuals with substance use disorders
• Deliver counseling services to Spanish and English-speaking clients
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Support clients in achieving their recovery goals in a trauma-informed, patient-first environment

🔹 Minimum Requirements

• Must have Alcohol and Drug Trainee Status or one of the following credentials issued by the State of Maryland :
  • LGADC (Licensed Graduate Alcohol and Drug Counselor)
  • LGPC (Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor)
  • LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker)
  • CAC-AD (Certified Associate Counselor - Alcohol and Drug)
  • CSC-AD (Certified Supervised Counselor - Alcohol and Drug)
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
• Associate degree or higher in a behavioral health, psychology, or human services-related field
• 2–4 years of professional experience working in substance use, addiction, or mental health services

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, Counseling, or related field
• Experience working with diverse, multicultural populations
• Prior experience in residential, outpatient, or dual-diagnosis treatment programs
