Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000 / year

Legal Operations Specialist , at
Impulse , you are an integral part of our Legal and Government Affairs team and would report directly to the VP for Regulatory and Government Affairs. You would have a key role in automating or streamlining operations and enhancing the efficiency of our group, working in close collaboration with the Company's key stakeholders.
NOTE: This position is
on-site Responsibilities - Drive the development and execution of the Legal team's strategic plan, aligning it with the company's overarching business objectives
- Manage contract lifecycle processes, including managing counsel's progress on drafting, reviewing, and compliance tracking, while maintaining a robust contract database
- Optimize relationships with external legal service providers to enhance performance and cost-efficiency
- Develop and maintain a centralized repository of team knowledge, including templates, guidelines, and best practices
- Lead implementation of legal technology solutions to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and safeguard data integrity
- Support legal compliance initiatives, regulatory submissions, and internal audits
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency, manage budget tracking, and facilitate knowledge management
- Provide administrative and operational support to the legal team
- Analyze data trends, key metrics, and KPIs to identify areas for improvement
- Participate in other projects as needed and contribute your skills where applicable
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business, legal studies, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in legal operations or legal project management, with a strong understanding of contract management, legal technology, and vendor management
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to pursue short and long-term goals
Preferred Skills and Experience - Advanced degrees, experience in a AmLaw 100 law firm, or certifications are a plus
- 5+ years' of demonstrated experience with legal operations working within aerospace/space
- Experience working in a tech company, preferably a growth-stage startup
Additional Information: Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the
