KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scripts to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources
  • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business and technical requirements
  • Implement best practices for cloud architecture, focusing on scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance
  • Ensure robust security measures are implemented across all cloud environments in compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment of cloud infrastructure
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, processes, and procedures
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Terraform
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture
  • Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • In-depth understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
  • Azure Certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred
  • Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance
