We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Land Surveyor for our survey department. Lead Land Surveyor duties typically include:

• Lead and oversee all surveying operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with state and local platting regulations.
• Conduct and manage boundary, topographic, engineering, and residential surveys.
• Serve as the technical expert for land surveying, mentoring a team of surveyors.
• Plan, schedule, and manage projects, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

Design Alaska seeks these desirable attributes in Lead Land Surveyor applicants:

• Currently living in Alaska.
• Bachelors degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related eld.
• Currently a licensed land surveyor in the State of Alaska, or ability to become licensed.
• Prociency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS software, and advanced surveying equipment (GPS, Total Stations, LiDAR, drones).
