We are able to provide insights into the most\nadvanced equipment and technologies available, as well as practical solutions\nto the challenges our customers face.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

As a Lead Consultant, you\nare at the center point to develop and shape our grid consulting business. You\nprovide strategic advice on the application of latest technologies to customers\nand guide them through their transition in entering new markets.

Being a senior advisor to\ncustomers and the organization, you support throughout the opportunity\ndevelopment and bidding process, including the evaluation of potential\nopportunities, shaping and defining our consulting scopes & services with\nCustomers up to proposal development, and negotiation.

  • Guidance on New Technologies and Markets:

      \n
    • Forge strong partnerships with governmental &\n regulatory bodies, associations, industry leaders, and key stakeholders\n to position Siemens Energy as a trusted partner for grid consulting\n services in the region.
    • \n
    • Participate conferences and association meetings\n to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in technology and market\n trends related to the energy sector and provide relevant insights to the\n organization.
    • \n
    • Guide customers on the potential benefits and\n risks of adopting new technologies and entering new markets.
    • \n
    • Develop strategies and plans to help customers\n successfully navigate the challenges and opportunities associated with\n new technologies and markets.

  • Development of study scopes & concepts:
  • \n
      \n
    • Help customers define study scopes and concepts\n that align with their business objectives and regulatory requirements.
    • \n
    • Provide expert advice on industry best practices\n and emerging trends to inform the development of study scopes and\n concepts.
    • \n
    • Ensure that study scopes and concepts are\n technically sound and economically feasible.
    • \n

  • Guide the Opportunity & Offer Development\n Process:
  • \n
      \n
    • Review & analyze the customer RfI / RfP\n documents and drive the bid decision in alignment with the business\n development and sales teams
    • \n
    • Provide expert advice on pricing strategies, risk\n evaluation, and value proposition development to enhance the company's\n competitiveness in the bidding process.
    • \n
    • Develop and implement strategies to successfully\n negotiate deal terms and execute contracts, ensuring that strategic\n objectives are being met.
    • \n
    • Drive the performance of the regional business\n development effectively, providing sound and reliable financial\n forecasting & planning
    • \n
    \n

What You Bring

    \n
  • Master’s degree in electrical power engineering or\n higher.
  • \n
  • 8 or more years of relevant professional\n experience in consulting within the energy sector and industry, with a\n demonstrated successful track record of a consulting project portfolio.
  • \n
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in transmission\n planning and operational studies (100 kV ~ 765 kV), power system\n performance analyses including steady state analysis, dynamic stability,\n voltage stability, protection coordination and control system.
  • \n
  • Deep understanding of ISO new resource application\n approval processes and grid planning considerations. Relevant experience\n working and communicating with ISO, RTOs, utilities, and developers.
  • \n
  • Advanced skills in HVDC applications, power\n transmission systems, NERC compliance, power electronics and new resource\n commercial development.
  • \n
  • Knowledge in renewable generation such as Wind and\n Solar is considered as a plus
  • \n
  • Appreciation of electrical balance-of-plant and\n industrial power supply concepts are a plus.
  • \n
  • An analytical and strategic mindset, always eager\n to explore and implement innovative solutions and applying problem-solving\n skills within a consulting environment.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills,\n with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders;\n Proficient language skill in English is required.
  • \n
  • Flexibility to travel as needed, up to 40%.
  • \n
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for\n employment in the United States without need for current or future\n employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with\n current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
