Columbus Circle, Manhattan

On-site four days per week; one remote day

Purpose

Deliver, maintain, and optimize WordPress and other web assets across WFOGen’s portfolio. Build and refine automation pipelines in n8n, Make, and Zapier. Embed AI solutions to accelerate development and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, customize, and maintain WordPress sites, themes, and plugins.
• Manage additional CMS or static-site frameworks as required.
• Integrate AI tools (e.g., GPT APIs, computer-vision libraries) into web workflows and content pipelines.
• Design and deploy automated processes in n8n, Make, and Zapier for data syncing, lead routing, analytics, and marketing operations.
• Own front-end code quality (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end scripting (PHP, Node.js, or Python).
• Configure hosting, domains, SSL, and performance monitoring.
• Implement SEO technical best practices and accessibility compliance.
• Version-control all assets in Git; manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Document systems and hand off repeatable processes to cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues with tight turnaround.
• Manage IT

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years professional web development with primary focus on WordPress.
• Proven automation experience using at least one of n8n, Make, or Zapier in production.
• Proficient in REST and GraphQL API consumption and creation.
• Strong JavaScript (vanilla and frameworks), modern CSS, and PHP.
• Familiarity with AI/ML APIs and prompt engineering fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of SQL, caching layers, and deployment pipelines.
• Rigorous approach to testing, documentation, and security.
• Able to manage concurrent projects for multiple business units.
