Metro Services is looking to immediately fill Japanese Interpreter & Translator positions for an Automotive Manufacturing facility in Marion, IL. This is a direct-hire position. Apply Now!
Duties for this position include:
- Providing technical interpretation from Japanese to English and English to Japanese in the manufacturing process for the Production Engineering Department
- Providing technical interpretation from Japanese to English and English to Japanese as required for hourly team members and managers
- Providing interpretation during meetings and greeting and interpreting customers or suppliers
- Responsible for all document translation from Japanese to English and English to Japanese for the Production Engineering Department
- Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards
- Perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by the Production Engineering Manager or other members of management
Compensation (USD):
$53,930.00/year
Schedule:
1st Shifts
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- A high level of written and oral skills in Japanese and English is required
- Good interpretation and translation skills and strong interpersonal skills are required
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
