We are based in Frisco, TX and employ prospective candidates that are open to a Hybrid work environment, 3 days per week in the office, two from home. Minimal travel for this opportunity. We seek a highly motivated and results-oriented Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that the projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.The candidate will also need to have a Scrum Master background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans that align with business objectives and strategic goals.
    • Break down projects into manageable phases and tasks, assigning responsibilities to team members.
    • Utilize project management methodologies and tools to track progress and identify potential risks or issues.
    • Manage project timelines and resource allocation to optimize project outcomes.
    • Follow Agile development practices
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management.
    • Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements, ensuring their alignment with project goals.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns promptly to maintain project momentum and satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership and Motivation:
    • Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to team members, empowering them to achieve their goals.
    • Motivate and inspire team members to overcome challenges and deliver exceptional results.
  • Issue Resolution and Conflict Management:
    • Identify, assess, and prioritize potential project risks and issues.
    • Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate risks and resolve issues that arise.
    • Manage conflicts constructively, ensuring open communication and a collaborative approach.
  • Project Documentation and Reporting:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and status reports.
    • Prepare regular project updates, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Document lessons learned from completed projects to improve future project outcomes.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • PMP Certification is desirable

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must have Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM, A-CSM) or Certified/Professional Scrum Trainer (CST, PST).
  • Must have a Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years of experience managing complex projects across multiple departments.
  • Must have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects within budget, schedule, and scope.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile Development frameworks) and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, SharePoint).
    • Proficient in project planning and usage of scheduling software
    • Strong understanding of risk management principles and techniques.
    • Familiarity with change management processes and tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex project challenges.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Adaptability and resilience to handle unexpected changes and maintain project momentum.
