As a PR intern at Forvis Mazars, you will gain valuable experience working with Public Relations Managers and PR Agencies in various aspects to support the advancement of Forvis Mazars’ external communications. Additionally, you will work directly with our Strategic Communications team on internal communications.

How you will contribute:

• Write social media copy to help amplify news releases, earned media stories, and other firm announcements
• Research and maintain calendars for awards entries
• Research journalist backgrounds and help compile media contact lists
• Assist with earned media monitoring and tagging
• Assist with producing local news releases for Marketing & Business Development team
• Work with and support the firm’s Public Relations Manager and PR agency with external communications tasks
• Support the firm’s Strategic Communications team with internal communications tasks, as appropriate

We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:

• Full-time student in an accredited college or university
• Declared a major in an applicable field (business marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or public relations)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• This is an entry-level position; therefore, no experience is required. However, any related experience would be helpful for the role.
