Program

• Up to a 12-month paid program intended to prepare the Protg Agent for a independent Farmers agency location in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
• Upon completion of the program, the Protg Agent may have the opportunity to become appointed to one of Farmers agency contracts (acquisition, seed or retail) depending on availability.

Support, extensive training, mentoring, monthly check-ins, and unlimited access from your District Office

• Actively develop and apply new business prospecting techniques to generate organic new business for the mentor agency (auto, home, life, business).
• Quote, calculate and discuss policy premiums and bind new business premium.
• Make suitable insurance recommendations on policy options and coverages.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the different types of products offered by Farmers, as well as underwriting guidelines for each.
• Track daily prospecting and sales activities.

Customer Service Skills

• Actively develop and apply best practice customer service skills.
• Assist customers to make policy changes as needed.
• Handle billing inquiries as requested by customers.
• Respond to customer claims situations appropriately and timely.
• Work with customers as assigned in a fair and ethical manner.
• People-oriented with a passion for group projects

• High school diploma or GED
• Sales customer service and time management skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• No Bankruptcies or criminal record with felonies
• Must have transportation
• Willingness to obtain AZ Property and Casualty, if not already licensed
• Willingness to obtain AZ LIfe & Health Insurance licensing, if not already licensed
