Job Description: Cyber Security Specialist at Leidos Leidos’ High Fidelity Simulation Business Area is responsible for architecting and implementing large-scale System of Systems solutions supporting world-class simulation, training, and analysis products for the US Navy. Leidos is seeking an energetic, motivated, self-starter for a technically sophisticated and challenging information security position supporting naval training and simulation systems, including CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer. Responsibilities Develop and implement cybersecurity plans and goals, supporting and reinforcing the organization’s cybersecurity mission, values, and culture. Manage Information Systems (ISs), maintain System Security Policies (SSP), and update the Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&M) in coordination with the Security Control Assessor (SCA). Provide guidance on security measures and perform regular audits. Analyze vulnerabilities from scanning and monitoring tools. Coordinate with DCSA representatives and ISSOs to ensure compliance and system integrity; assist with security assessments. Coordinate Change and Control Boards, document meetings, and provide cybersecurity feedback on changes. Assist with Authorization and Assessment processes across multiple sites and authorities. Conduct security briefings on rules, responsibilities, and acceptable use. Minimum Qualifications BA/BS degree or equivalent certifications (e.g., CISSP, RHCSA) meeting 8570.1M / 8140 standards. 10+ years of relevant experience, including ISSM or ISSO roles. Linux operating system experience, including command line proficiency, file system navigation, and vulnerability remediation. Familiarity with EMASS. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and a positive attitude. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Jira, Confluence, Portfolio, Service Desk. Additional Information Original Posting: April 11, 2025 Pay Range: $104,650.00 - $189,175.00.
