Job Title: HVAC Drafter
Location: Monroe, CT (On-site; relocation required if not local)

Job Summary
Our W3Global client is seeking an experienced HVAC Drafter to join their Monroe, CT office. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and layout of HVAC systems, including duct work and piping, for both commercial and residential projects. Your expertise in AutoCAD MEP and field measurements will support our mechanical construction projects encompassing HVAC, sheet metal, piping, and plumbing disciplines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Drafting & Coordination:
Produce accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for field installation.
Coordinate with other sub-contractor trades to resolve any potential clashes while ensuring budget and constructability requirements.
Collaboration:
Participate in coordination meetings to address project challenges.
Review drawings with production and field teams and adjust as necessary in collaboration with project management.
Site Visits:
Travel to various project sites as required to ensure proper implementation of designs.
Additional Tasks:
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall project objectives.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent; a degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
At least one year of drafting experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP.
Familiarity with HVAC, piping, and duct drawings.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical plans, including sections and elevations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
A minimum of three years in the HVAC industry.
Understanding of related trades to facilitate effective project coordination.
Experience with Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, BIM Collaborate, or other model viewing/collaboration software.
Competence in 3D coordination with other trades.
Compensation & Work Schedule
Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday

A valid Driver's License is required.
Location & Relocation:
Must be able to commute to or relocate to Monroe, CT 06468 before starting work.
