Our team is comprised of hard-working, dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of those they work with. Our In-Person Care Specialists play a vital role in the support services provided to each individual in our programs. They provides continuous and active involvement, which includes an assertive and consistent implementation of an Individuals Service Plan, based on each person's strengths and needs. They are accountable and responsible for the direct supervision and teaching- and "hands on" assisting with each person served, including but not limited to, the following areas: homemaker & personal care services, health & medical care, dietary & special menu orders, independent living skill development, vocational and community employment interests, adaptive equipment and assistance supplies/items, mobility and safety awareness, transportation, socialization & leisure skills. PALS is a collaborative environment. Each of our team members work together professionally to assist our individuals. As an In-Person Care Specialist you'll work with individuals both in-home and in a community setting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OPERATIONS: - Serves as the administrator of the human resource department and the liaison for all employees.
- Maintains regulatory compliance with employee files and training requirements.
COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING: - Maintain employee paperwork filing and record keeping related to new hires and employee files, update information in Paycom regarding important dates.
- Ensure the training is complete with Program Directors at each location.
ACCOUNTABILITY: - Ensure new employees are entered into each system and communicate with the Program Director.
- Follow-up with pre-hire tests and processes to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate training and orientation with appropriate location Program Director.
FISCAL: - Maintain monthly budget requests with Corporate.

Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS - High School Diploma and office environment familiarity
- Experience in a Health Care work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Well organized and a planner
- Light travel required
- Lifting to 20 lbs. required.
- Unpredictable situations that could result in physical contact requirement interventions and directed.
- Mental health crisis preparedness capability as directed
