Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bilingual Skills: Fluent communication in English and Spanish will enhance your ability to support our team and diverse clientele.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with staff and other departments.
  • Thorough understanding of hotel cleaning procedures, guest service standards, and hygiene regulations.
  • Knowledge of linen and inventory management, forecasting supply needs, and optimizing stock levels.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and housekeeping management software.

Responsibilities: This list is not a comprehensive list of all duties and responsibilities associated with this position. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

  • Room Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet our established cleanliness and presentation standards. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to housekeeping staff for improvement.
  • Training: Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Continuously coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Daily Inspections: Perform daily inspections of all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces, to identify any maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns. Take proactive measures to address any issues promptly.
  • Property Walks: Conduct regular property walks to assess overall cleanliness, organization, and maintenance needs. Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any deficiencies and ensure a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Maintenance Work Orders: Document and submit maintenance work orders for any repairs or improvements needed within the hotel premises. Follow up to ensure timely resolution and maintain a safe and functional environment for guests and staff.

Compensation/Pay: $15-$16.5 per hour
