**Job Description:**
As the Guest Service Agent, you are responsible for providing outstanding guest service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory and availability, and upholding high quality guest service standards.
***To become an integral part of the Front Office Management team you will need:***
* Minimum of two years customer service experience
* Ability to consistently treat others with kindness and willingness to help.
* Proficiency in the operation system Opera will be helpful!
* Familiar with Hotels and previous Hotel Front Desk experience is a big plus.
* Ensure guest expectations are exceeded
* Communicate effectively and graciously with Housekeeping, Engineering, Catering and Sales to ensure groups and special functions are handled smoothly.
* Stay poised and calm under pressure.
* As a 24/7 operation position will be required to work a varied schedule that includes evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Good knowledge of computers including hospitality software.
* Exceptional detail in follow-up.
* Contribute to a courteous, friendly, professional work environment.
**Physical Requirements:**
Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach with hands and arms. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in indoor environments.
Must be a self-starter with a great personality and strong skills.
