Exciting Opportunity: DIRECT HIRE HSE Manager position available!
Role Responsibilities:
-Plan, develop, and coordinate all safety and environmental training and audits
-Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
-Manage Workers Compensation cases/issues and submit timely documentation
-Monitor and ensure accident/incident investigations and follow-up actions
-Provide health, safety, and environmental guidance and performance metrics to management
-Maintain training records and workers compensation documents
-Update written safety and environmental programs
-Complete required environmental reporting
-Ensure compliance with hazardous and non-hazardous waste regulations
-Maintain compliance with Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) records
-Notify state agencies of any environmental events or non-compliances
-Manage the containment, removal, and remediation of hazardous materials

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience
-Minimum three years of experience with environmental regulatory issues
-Minimum five years of experience in an industrial manufacturing facility
-Knowledge of industrial hygiene, safety, occupational health, hazard communication, and environmental regulations
-Familiarity with chemical processes and transformations
-Understanding of laws, regulations, and government procedures
-Hands-on ability in corporate and industrial environments
-Project management skills within scope and budget
-Ability to travel approximately 10 percent of the time
-Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
