We are looking for a Head of Mathematics for an International School based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025. The group has more than 20 campuses across China with Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle and High School departments. Job detailsTeach the school’s mathematics subject to school secondary students aging from 11 to 18 years oldDevelop, review, and update the math curriculum to align with state/national standards and school objectives.Guide teaching strategies, integrate technology, and ensure effective pedagogy across grade levels.Mentor math teachers, conduct evaluations, organize professional development, and manage departmental staffing.Monitor assessment data, identify trends, and implement interventions to improve outcomes.Work with administrators, parents, and stakeholders to address concerns and enhance program visibility.Oversee the department budget, textbooks, and educational tools.
