About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Capital Formation and Ventures to spearhead its capital strategy, drive financing initiatives, and enhance shareholder liquidity and value. This pivotal role is focused on building and maintaining a robust capital structure to support the rapid global expansion of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all capital formation activities, including equity, debt, and hybrid financings, and will work closely with the CEO to ensure the company has the right strategic relationships and liquidity pathways. Additionally, the role involves partnering with the innovation arm to identify and fund new venture opportunities. Applicants for the Head of Capital Formation and Ventures position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in investment banking, venture capital, growth equity, or corporate finance, with a proven track record in raising capital or structuring liquidity transactions for growth-stage companies. The role requires a strong understanding of capital markets, investor relations, and corporate valuation frameworks, as well as the ability to negotiate effectively with institutional and strategic investors. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, analytical, and relentless in their pursuit of capital efficiency and shareholder value, and should be comfortable working in a hands-on, lean, founder-led environment. Experience in IoT, SaaS, or other hardware-enabled tech sectors, as well as exposure to secondary markets, recapitalizations, or special situations investing, is a plus.
