Job Description

We are looking for a Hotel Guest Service Agent to join our Lovable, Imaginative, Friendly, Enthusiastic full of L.I.F.E family at the new Tru by Hilton Spartanburg. To serve as our guests first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. The successful candidate should be outgoing and friendly with a gregarious personality and a natural talent for customer service. You will be responsible for creating a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests. Holidays and weekends are required.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
• Manage online and phone reservations
• Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
• Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
• Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
• Respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guest needs
• Confirm group reservations
• Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
• Meet and exceed guest expectations by anticipating the services they might require and suggesting local venue
