Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently operating SITDOWN forklift and warehouse equipment to facilitate the smooth movement of goods within our distribution center. This role is crucial in ensuring that all loading, unloading, and inventory management tasks are completed accurately and safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and hi-lo equipment, to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Utilize pallet jacks and order pickers to move products throughout the warehouse efficiently.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking product movement and maintaining stock levels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic inventory control practices.
• Ability to operate various types of forklifts safely, including clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and hi-lo equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
