FLIGHT PARAMEDIC / FLIGHT NURSE

POSITION SUMMARY:
Our flight providers are highly skilled and specialized healthcare professionals responsible for delivering advanced pre-hospital and emergency medical care to patients during air and ground transport. They play a vital role in the chain of survival for critically ill or injured patients, providing essential care during transportation from a scene to a healthcare facility or between healthcare facilities.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
Uphold a high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct.
Provide immediate and comprehensive medical care to critically ill or injured patients.
Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation.
Work closely with other members of the flight crew.
Effectively communicate.
Possess the ability to remain calm and composed in high stress situations.
Ensure compliance with relevant medical and aviation regulations.
Pursue and maintain required certifications and licenses.
Participates in activities to support public relations and marketing efforts.
Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current WI paramedic license or WI RN license required, CCT endorsement preferred.
3 years ALS experience required; 5 years preferred.
Flight or CCT transport experience preferred.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS; May need to obtain ITLS or PHTLS upon hire.
Must complete required flight training upon hire; FP-C required within 1-year of hire.
Valid driver's license required.
Complete a post-offer drug screen and criminal background check as a condition of an offer.
Must maintain duty weight below 250 lbs. (includes flight uniform, helmet, and goggles).
