Job Description

Support hardware installation, circuit connection and service delivery on the sites that the engineer covers. This Arelion presence on sites allow a better control of the quality and lead time and create important savings.

The area to cover will be all Arelion Sites in New-York and its extended suburbs.

• Installation (dismantle) and commissioning (using local connection and network management access) of telecom equipment (WDM and IP)
• Connection (disconnection) of physical circuits fiber and copper
• Carry out testing on copper or optical circuits
• Manage Sales Force queue, providing clear, timely and consistent updates of ongoing work orders and their status.
• Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure work orders are delivered to match requestor satisfaction
• Monitor quality and security on site (cabling in racks and ODF, access in POPs, ... ) and report to appropriate function

• Manage shipments : delivery, packing, ...
• Manage local stock and plan refill as required (consumables, optic modules, ...)

This role mandates successfully undergoing a security vetting process in accordance with prevailing security protection regulations. Positions demanding security clearance may entail additional citizenship-related requirements.
