Job Description
RLD Associates. Inc has an opening for experienced premium auditor to perform hybrid-telephone audits from their home. As a premium auditor you will contact various businesses to gather documents and information via the phone and email in order to complete audit worksheets. The purpose of a premium audit is to review payroll and sales records, and to conduct a thorough interview to validate information on commercial insurance policies.
In this position you will work remotely, in your home office.
Pay is based on a billable hour rate/model.
Candidates must have their own Windows OS computer available.
In this position you will:
*Review audit requests and prioritize your inventory
*Make contact with business-owners/businesses to gather documents and conduct interviews
*Examine the insured’s accounting records and operations, comparing them to what is shown on the policy
*Research and apply appropriate manual rules and classifications to comply with insurance industry standards
*Prepare written audit report.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
*Pleasant, yet professional personality
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Excel
*Must be dependable and self-motivated
