Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with excavators, and will be responsible for performing various tasks related to excavation and site preparation. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and other heavy equipment, including backhoes, loaders, and graders, to perform excavation tasks.
• Dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks as required for construction projects.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project specifications are met.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety regulations.
• Operate water trucks and dump trucks as needed for material transport.
• Assist in horizontal drilling operations when required.
• Build and maintain relationships with team members to foster a collaborative work environment.

Experience

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators, backhoes, loaders, and graders.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is preferred.
• Previous experience in construction or excavation projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate water trucks and dump trucks effectively.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices related to heavy equipment operation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
