_Topper Industries is a structural design and fabrication company located in Woodland, WA. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our sales team. _Our inside sales role includes but is not limited to sourcing jobs, preparing proposals and bidding. You will be working directly with customers, engineers, and Topper employees. An understanding of contracts and negotiation is required and a basic understanding of structural fabrication, including knowledge of structural shapes and general industry terminology is preferred._
*DAILY EXPECTATIONS*
- You will source new projects using various tools provided
- Analyze the customer’s particular requirements and project bid specifications
- Manage the distribution of information to all relevant internal resources
- Prepare cost estimates based on internal (proprietary) pricing guidelines
- Prepare budgetary or firm proposals. Define, revise, and adjust the scope of the proposals in
terms of scope of supply, options offered pricing, delivery, terms & conditions
*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES*
- Ability to read and interpret technical and legal documents/contracts
- Must be able to take a concept or schematic drawings and develop a competitive estimate with
detail; industrial, DOT and commercial projects
- Must have an understanding of structural aluminum and floating structures as they apply to shop
fabrication and site erection
- Must be proficient with GSuite, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs and have basic computer skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting stringent deadlines, not afraid to have tough
conversations
- Be self-motivated and have strong math skills
*EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION*
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Structural/Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or
Business related fields preferred
- 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
